About Yasna Voices:
Yasna Voices is New York City’s own Bulgarian Women’s Choir, bringing Bulgarian and other Eastern European folk music to urban audiences. Yasna creates lush musical landscapes breathing new life into “old world” traditions through fierce vocal acrobatics. Their repertoire runs the gamut from village-style duets, herding calls, dance-tunes as well as contemporary choral arrangements.
